This will let me build a character...and examine and familiarize myself with the system. Being stuck in a mobility and personal-resources crunch does NOT mean I do not want a piece of the action!

I think the Nerf Maverick and Longstrike will be Class C...although adding the 12-round magazine to the Longstrike will raise it to B (opinion only).

I think treading softly in this area is a wise idea...Any 'corporal punishment' is best done off-scene by consent amd handled with caution.

I am in favor of this since it will be both a good use of the Wiki and a reduction in the Facebook load.

Curious if any colonials are identifying as Callistan in origin...May I contribute to the lore, especially a couple of bits of slang?
"Jandar" (ZHON-dar)--noun. A cizizen of Callisto, or someone identifying as having Callistan origin. Mispronouncing it as "JAN-dar" is indicative of unfamiliarity. Originated as a reference to a XXth-century fantasy character created by author Lin Carter, a transplanted Terrestrial whose name (Jon Dark) was rendered that way by the natives.
"Thap"--verb. To move with haste, Origin also from Lin Carter's fantasy, the name of an indigenous saddle animal used by the Callistan natives (the 'thaptor', a birdlike quadruped).

Good deal on that....It will also need to have a removable cap to allow changing of batteries so I'll use a PVC cap held on with a small countersunk screw. Either a momentary button to hold down or a push-on/push-off switch...I lean toward the latter .

Not sure how long-term exposure to low or zero-gravity affects a person...and some writers (Niven) have mentioned that we may need gravity for successfully bringing babies to full term. Bioscience advantages migt assist in this.
